Shypenion

The shypenion is a ...... well a rather peculiar subterrian. Its front body seems to be able to retract into its lower body. It is unknown how this subterrian anatomy works, but many subterra scientists theorize that the space between the lower body and upper body has extremely elongated muscles between the vertebrae, and when the muscles stretch, its head pops out. The gills on its body allows the shypenion to breathe while its head is retracted. The second oddity of this subterrian is its tail, which seems to be made up of three whip like organs, with each having Barbs going down its length. This tail is a great defense mechanism, as it harshly slaps the predator when it turns tail to run.
